Laura Kaminski has worked for the Commission since 2002 and is a Senior Program Specialist in the Resource Management Program Area. She currently supports a variety of projects including the Great Lakes Tributary Modeling Program, Great Lakes Basin Program for Soil Erosion and Sediment Control, the Great Lakes Air Deposition Program, and other initiatives related to the sustainable use of land and minimization of nonpoint source pollution within the Great Lakes region.

Prior to joining the Commission, Kaminski worked as an environmental consultant doing Phase I environmental site assessments in metro Detroit, and also worked for a Federal Emergency Management Agency contractor on the implementation of the National Flood Insurance Program in Washington, D.C. Ms. Kaminski received her B.S. in environmental geology and her dual M.S./M.B.A. in resource policy and nonprofit management from the University of Michigan.
