Nick Schroeck

Nick Schroeck graduated with a J.D. in May, 2007 from Wayne State University Law School. He focused his legal education in the area of environmental law and water law. Most recently, Schroeck drafted on a comment urging revisions to the Great Lakes Water Quality Agreement as part of an international environmental law seminar. This past spring, he interned with the Michigan Attorney General's Office Criminal Division, assisting in criminal and civil environmental prosecutions. During law school he also served as Executive Board Secretary and as a Student Attorney at the Free Legal Aid Clinic in Detroit.

Schroeck received a B.A. in Urban Studies and Political Science from Elmhurst College (IL) in 2002. During his junior year he studied at the University of Edinburgh (Scotland) and interned for a Member of Scottish Parliament.

In his free time Schroeck enjoys reading and a variety of outdoor activities. He likes to vacation at his parent's cabin along the St. Mary's river near Pickford, MI.
