2001 Semiannual Meeting of the Great Lakes Commission
Ensuring Environmental and Economic Prosperity for the Great Lakes-St. Lawrence Region
Held May 15-16 in Ann Arbor, Michigan

Representatives from Observer agencies address the Commission: Capt. Randy Helland, U.S. Coast Guard Ninth District, Marine Safety Division; and Pat Leavenworth, Wisconsin State Conservationist, USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service.

A full room of federal, state/provincial and non-government officials were in attendance at the Commission events to address Great Lakes issues related to resource management and environmental quality; transportation and sustainable development; and communications and information management.
