People hear about Denison dune land preservation The Grand Rapids Press (8/27) About 300 people last night heard how the Lake Michigan dune land known as the former Denison property will be preserved. DNR grants available for landowners to help rare plants and animals The Capital Times (8/25) The Department of Natural Resources is accepting applications for the Landowner Incentive Program, which gives assistance to landowners who agree to manage their property to benefit rare and threatened plants and animals. Public asked for input on Lake Erie projects The News-Messenger (8/20) Citizens with an interest in the future of the Lake Erie coast and how shoreline construction projects are handled are encouraged to express their opinions at a series of public informational meetings set for September on the coastline.
